Ethical considerations fundamental to in-house legal counsel in California. This webinar offers attorneys entering an in-house position in California with an understanding of the core ethical issues they will encounter, whether it be at a start-up or a multi-national corporation.

why should you attend

Practicing attorneys must be aware of the contents of the California Rules of Professional Conduct and how they apply to the real world, especially because they are significantly different from the ABA Model code. The number of attorneys going in-house continues to increase and companies often employ outside counsel for certain matters. Understanding and anticipating the ethical issues at work faced by in-house counsel is important to success, whether you are a company or firm attorney. The solutions to those issues are also often in flux, making it important to periodically update yourself on the current trends in the ethics rules.
